Susan Dearborn

Susan Dearborn has been the Organist and Choir Director at St. Mark’s since 1992, and is responsible for the music program, including the Youth and Adult Choirs. Prior to her time at St. Mark’s, Susan was substituting in area churches, and earlier served as organist for her hometown church in Deerfield, New Hampshire. She holds a BA in Musical Theatre from the University of New Hampshire, where she was the composer of a children’s musical titled “Revolutionary Romp” and provided musical direction for dozens of theatre productions on and off campus. She received her MS in Music Librarianship from Simmons College while a librarian at Harvard University, and spent several years selling computers and information products to libraries in the US and abroad. She is now an agent for conductors of ballet, opera and symphonic music worldwide.
