News from St. Mark's
Proposed Time Change

After many informal conversations which suggest that parishioners of all ages struggle to be in church by 9:00am on Sundays, the Vestry is proposing that Eucharist and Sunday School begin at 9:30am, beginning September 5, 2010. We would love your feedback! Contact the Rector
in person or at connect.john@gmail.org, or speak to any vestry member. Our intention is to make St. Mark's more accessible to current members and to newcomers, especially families with young children and teenagers.

Summer Bible Study

During the summer we will be holding Bible Study sessions in the parish hall after service. This is a low key way to think about the readings for the following Sunday - no prior knowledge is assumed.

In order to find the bible readings on-line click this link: http://www.io.com/~kellywp/. Simply go to the correct date and click on the blue RCL link.  This will bring you right to the readings for the Sunday.  Also, note that we always study the readings for the following Sunday so to find the readings we'll talk about on July 18 you will need to get the July 25 readings.
